Shiping method

AMIKON LIMITED supplies industrial automation products to customers worldwide. Available shipping methods, estimated dispatch time and shipping costs will be stated in the quotation or order confirmation.

1. Carriers
Unless otherwise agreed, orders are normally shipped by DHL. Depending on the destination, product and customer requirements, we may also use FedEx, UPS, TNT, air freight, sea freight or another suitable logistics provider.
Customers may request shipment using their own carrier account. The carrier information must be provided before dispatch.

2. Dispatch Time

Dispatch estimates begin after:
The order has been accepted;
Full cleared payment has been received;
Required customer information has been supplied; and
Product inspection, testing and packing have been completed.
For available stock, AMIKON LIMITED aims to dispatch within 1–3 business days. Urgent same-day dispatch may be possible when confirmed by the account manager.
Specially sourced, tested, repaired or factory-ordered products may require additional time. The estimated dispatch date in the quotation or order confirmation takes priority over general website information.

3. Delivery Estimates
Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees, unless a guaranteed service has been purchased and confirmed in writing.

Delivery time can be affected by:
Customs clearance;
Carrier delays;
Remote-area delivery;
Severe weather;
Public holidays;
Export-control checks;
Incorrect delivery details; or
Events outside AMIKON LIMITED’s reasonable control.
If a material delay occurs, AMIKON LIMITED will provide an updated estimate and, where reasonably possible, discuss alternative sourcing or shipping options.

4. Shipping Charges
Product prices do not include shipping, insurance, duties or taxes unless the quotation states otherwise.
Shipping charges are based on product weight, dimensions, destination, carrier and service level. Customers may request package dimensions and estimated weight before confirming an order.

5. Customs, Taxes and Duties
AMIKON LIMITED provides standard export documents, such as a commercial invoice and packing list.
Unless the quotation states that duties and taxes are included, the recipient is responsible for:
Import duties;
VAT, GST or other local taxes;
Customs brokerage fees;
Import licences; and
Local compliance requirements.

6. Tracking
Tracking information is sent after the carrier collects the shipment. Tracking activation may take several hours.
For freight shipments, the relevant bill of lading or forwarding information will be supplied.

7. Delivery Address Changes
Request any address change before dispatch. AMIKON LIMITED cannot guarantee address changes after the carrier has collected the shipment.
Additional carrier charges resulting from an incorrect or changed address are the customer’s responsibility.

8. Risk of Loss
Risk and delivery responsibility are determined by the shipping term stated in the quotation or order confirmation.
If the customer appoints its own carrier or freight account, risk normally transfers when the shipment is handed to that carrier, subject to the agreed Incoterm.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes. AMIKON LIMITED supplies customers worldwide, subject to carrier availability, export controls and local import restrictions.

Can I use my own carrier account?
Yes. Provide the account number and shipping instructions before dispatch.

How long does dispatch take?
Available stock is normally dispatched within 1–3 business days, but the timeframe shown on your quotation controls.

Will I receive tracking information?
Yes. Tracking details are normally sent after carrier collection.

Are duties and taxes included?
Only when expressly stated in the quotation. Otherwise, import charges are the recipient’s responsibility.
