Description

The Bently Nevada 200150-09-05 is a general purpose, wide frequency, case-mounted seismic transducer for use with Trendmaster 2000 and Trendmaster Pro systems. The 200150-09-05 interfaces with the 200100 Dual Acceleration to Velocity flexiTIM Module, the 89130-01 Acceleration-to-Velocity TIM (Transducer Interface Module), as well as the 1900/25 and 1900/27 monitors,
providing reliable vibration monitoring for rotating machinery.

The 200150-09-05 features a hermetically sealed, stainless steel case that provides an extremely rugged transducer well suited for harsh industrial environments. This sealed construction of the 200150-09-05 ensures protection against moisture, dust, and corrosive contaminants, maintaining reliable performance in demanding process plant conditions.

The 200150-09-05 contains a piezoelectric sensing device that generates a charge when it is subjected to vibration. The 200150-09-05 electronically converts this charge to a differential voltage signal that is proportional to the acceleration that is parallel to the sensitive axis of the transducer. The 200150-09-05 delivers a sensitivity of 100 mV/g (10.2 mV/m/s²) with an acceleration range of ±80 g (±784 m/s²) peak, ensuring accurate capture of vibration amplitudes across typical industrial machinery operating conditions.

Prepare the Surface: Ensure the mounting location is flat, clean, and free of paint, rust, or debris.
Mounting Stud Integration: The sensor base features a 3/8-24 female thread. Insert the included 1-3/8 inch hex plate stud (which adapts the 3/8-24 thread down to a 1/4-28 UNF thread) tightly into the machine.
Torque Specifications: Tighten the accelerometer housing onto the mounting stud using a torque wrench. The designated torque specification is 2.7 to 6.8 N·m (2 to 5 ft·lbf).
Do not overtighten, as this can damage the internal crystal or warp the stainless steel housing.
