The 330101-16-40-05-01-05 is a member of the 3300 XL 8 mm proximity transducer family and is designed for non-contact measurement of shaft displacement and vibration in rotating machinery. The probe operates using eddy current sensing technology, generating a high-frequency electromagnetic field at the probe tip. Variations in the distance between the probe tip and a conductive target surface produce corresponding changes in the probe signal, which are processed by a compatible Proximitor Sensor into a calibrated displacement output.
