The IC670MDL644 24 Volts DC Positive/Negative Input Module is a Field Control Logic Fast Input Module made by GE Fanuc. It offers a single group of discrete inputs that can be driven by both positive and negative logic. The IC670MDL644 24 Volts DC Positive/Negative Input Module comes with 16 inputs, individual LEDs for the logic side inputs, and a "PWR" indicator LED to monitor the status of the power supply. The bus interface unit provides the power needed to drive the 5 Volts logic, and an external 24 Volts DC power supply is required to power up the input devices. It also provides isolation ratings such as 250 Volts AC of continuous user input to logic isolation and 1500 Volts AC of user input to frame ground isolation for 1 minute.

Positioning: Tilt the I/O Terminal Block and hook the rear tabs over the top of the DIN rail.
Securing: Pivot the block downward until the spring-loaded latches click into place.
Clamping: Tighten the DIN rail clamp screw to a torque of 4 to 6 in/lbs (or up to 10 in/lbs depending on the specific block model) to prevent movement.
