PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Controller and interface positions within a Trusted mounting chassis
ICS Triplex T8100C is a conformal-coated Trusted controller chassis for TMR processors and I/O or interface modules. The integral inter-module bus backplane provides electrical interconnections, and the mechanical frame guides and retains modules while allowing airflow through the assembly.
Two triple-width processor positions are complemented by eight single-width I/O or interface positions. The chassis supports fixed or swing frame mounting, with panel mounting through a separate bracket kit. Installation requires the correct slot configuration, redundant power feeds and cooling clearance.

Is T8100C a controller processor?
No. It is a conformal-coated controller chassis with an integral backplane. The TMR processors and I/O or interface modules are separate items. -
How are the module positions arranged?
The chassis has two leftmost triple-width 90 mm processor positions and eight 30 mm I/O or interface positions. The latter are logical positions 1 to 8. -
Should the three backplane switches be configured?
No. The controller chassis manual identifies these switches as unused and instructs that their tape covering remain in place. Do not apply expander-chassis addressing instructions. -
What are the power input requirements?
Two rear terminal blocks, TB1 and TB2, accept redundant external 24 V DC feeds. The specified voltage range is 20-32 V DC with external 20 A fusing. -
Is panel mounting possible?
