Fused field terminations for forty analogue measurement loops
ICS Triplex T8830C is a forty-channel fused analogue input field termination assembly. The manufacturer identifies the exact model for four-to-twenty milliamp field signals. It provides the interface between two-wire field devices and the associated Trusted analogue input module through a matched cable.
Each channel has fused field power and a measurement resistor that develops the voltage presented to the input module. Dual field feeds are combined through diodes, and a green indicator shows supply presence. Confirm the loop arrangement, cable and SmartSlot generation before replacement.

Is T8830C the analogue input module itself?
No. It is the fused field termination assembly connecting analogue field devices to the documented T8431 input arrangement. The associated input module interprets the voltage provided by the field termination circuit. -

The incoming analogue field current develops a voltage across the channel resistor. That voltage is passed to the input module. Do not substitute a digital-input termination circuit simply because the mounting and channel count look similar. -
