The AADvance T9300 I/O dock unit connects directly to the right side of the T9100 processor dock unit (I/O bus 1) and the right side of other T9300 I/O dock units via a plug-in connection. The I/O docking station is connected to the left side of the processor docking station via a T9310 extension cable (I/O bus 2). This extension cable also allows the right side of the I/O docking station to be connected to the left side of other I/O docking stations for mounting additional I/O docking station rows. The docking station is secured in place by top and bottom clips that insert into the top and bottom of each docking station slot.
Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR): The T9100 employs TMR to manage three independent processing channels, which execute identical control programs to ensure continuous, safe operation even if one processor module fails.
High Availability/Fault Tolerance: Designed for critical applications, it supports automatic switchover to a standby processor, maintaining operation through a single failure.
Safety Certification (SIL 3): The processor is designed to meet IEC 61508 SIL 3 standards for high-risk, fail-safe environments, such as oil & gas, chemical processing, and power generation.
